how much time is there usually between finishing chemo and starting radiation?

    I think they usually give you a month to rest.

    About a month. Talk to your doctor he/she will know your case better than anyoneelse.

    My mom was, "finished" after chemo, to the point where she couldn't even think of doing radiation! Oncologist said she could have a good rest, she had about 7 weeks between chemo and rads, My mom was stage 1 tnbc, lumpectomy, clear margins, so no cancer present, chemo was preventative, and so was rads, But as Marianne said, talk to your onc every case is different!     I think mine was about 5 weeks but I had to see an RT first to see if it was needed as my onc. felt I did but the specialst was the one to tell me if I did indeed need it or not.

    Not sure. For me a month then surgery. Maybe same for starting radiation.
