Survivor since 2012
I'm so so sorry... I was in your shoes less than a year ago. I'm post surgery, post chemo and post radiation now... and although, at times, it felt like the end of the world... I've emerged on the other side now and I'm still here. A changed, person. Better in many ways, not as great in some ways. But it's opened up my eyes to actually LIVING, and not merely existing.
There's TONS of information on the internet. At first, it scared me. Heck, it STILL scares me. Even all the positive stories. I decided to avoid anything online related to Breast Cancer. I tried not to obsess. I figured once I was in treatment, if I had a symptom of one thing or another, I would research THAT symptom. I have made good friends through this process.
I KNOW you are scared beyond words. Hang on tight to your support system. Hoping the best for your treatment and recovery.
