I had a .4mm invasive ductal carcinoma grade 1. It was removed and I had 33 treatments of radiation. Am now taking a pill that blocks estrogen for 5 years with a less than 5% reoccurrence. (I am otherwise very healthy) Do I have a good chance of survival?

Comment 1I have(had) invasive ductal carcinoma 3 separate tumors which left me only with the option of a mastectomy I chose to have a bilateral for my own peace of mind and will undergo 8 months of chemo startin next week followed by 5 year hormone therapy just today I received my pet scan results and I am cancer free chemo is being done as a preventative measure because I'm only 29 it's an option u might consider cause it will kill any cells that may be floating around my oncologist said because if my age it was the best way to prevent reoccurrence I didn't new rads cause I had all the tissue removed!
