Sorry to hear of the spread of cancer. Please know that there are women living longer and doing well while getting treatment for Stage 4 cancer. Make a list of questions to ask your doctor. Discuss the possibility of clinical trials. Do things that bring you joy and distract you from cancer. Please keep us posted on how you are doing! We care about you!

Thank you, my oncologist never mentioned restaging. So I wasn't sure if it was still stage 3.

Wow that he didn't tell you! I hope he spent time talking about the change and new treatment options.
My heart goes out to you.

Hillary you are a beautiful person and oddly your story has given me strength! I am thinking about you and know that cancer is only given to the most beautiful women in the world.

Thanks for telling me. I had upper back pain since my DIEP reconstruction in December and rising tumor marker. I had PET scan two weeks ago (I was convinced it was in my upper spine). Pet showed activity in abdominal lymph node and small spot on liver(too small to biopsy). They did a. CT guided Biopsy of lymph node which came back as non diagnostic. So Dr had me do CT scan Friday. It is showing same spot on lymph node and liver. Dr who does liver biopsy is on vacation so I have to wait until he gets back on Wednesday. If he doesn't want to biopsy it Dr said we will watch it for 3 months and see if it disappears or grows. I don't know if I feel comfortable with later option. Wishing you all of the best.
