I had a mastectomy 4 weeks ago. I wore yoga pants...easy to pull up and down and zip up hoodies....you should not expect to be able to pull a shirt over your head for awhile. The hospital gave me two snap up camisoles with inside pockets for the drain...theses were great. Best of luck to you....the recovery was much easier than I anticipated.

Anything comfortable that opens in the front. You will probably come home wearing a surgical bra that you'll keep on for a bit. Good luck.

PJ where the best...anything soft that you can get on without raising your arm too high....I was really afraid to try and raise my arm as long as I had the cathater in.

You will be able to move your arms but it won't be very comfortable. It's bad enough to have a mastectomy, I used button front shirts

I had a hard time lifting my arm for about 1 1/2 weeks ... I wore some camilsoles that I could pull up over my hips

I am now four days post op and you ladies are spot on! I'm continuing to improve each day and have discovered the drain tube and the ace wrap are the two worst parts of it all. But my nodes were negative on the preliminary biopsy so I'm thankful...

Anything with buttons down the front. You won't want to move your arms around much. I made the mistake of using a loose t shirt, it was painful to take off

Definitely open front and loose fitting. I bought pyjamas that were button front and a size bigger than usual. It would be highly unlikely you will be able to lift your arms above your head for a while. Best of luck to you.

Button front pj top or other comfy shirt. I can't move my right arm very well. Plus, a size bigger than normal because you swell from the surgery and all the fluids. Best of luck!!!
